Stamped is designed for families and sitters who already know and trust one another. Unlike traditional babysitting marketplaces, Stamped does not match families with strangers. Families use Stamped to organize, book, and stay connected with sitters they already know through friends, neighbors, schools, sports teams, churches, and local communities.
Private by design
Families control who joins their network. Parents choose which sitters to invite and which connections to maintain. Stamped is not an open marketplace where anyone can browse or contact users.
Verified accounts
Stamped may require users to verify their email address, phone number, or other account information before participating on the platform. Verification helps maintain account integrity and reduce fraudulent activity.
Family information sharing
Families may choose to share important household information with trusted sitters, including children’s profiles, allergies, medications, emergency contacts, routines, and household notes. Information should only be shared with users the family chooses to invite, connect with, or book.
Reporting and account controls
Users may report inappropriate behavior, block connections, or remove access to their information at any time. Reports may be reviewed by Stamped Technologies LLC and may result in account restrictions or removal from the platform.
Background checks
Stamped does not currently perform mandatory background checks on users. Because Stamped is designed around existing trusted relationships rather than introductions between strangers, families are responsible for determining who they choose to invite into their network and book for childcare.
Future verification options
Stamped may introduce optional verification features in the future, including identity verification, CPR certification badges, First Aid certification badges, driver’s license badges, or third-party background check badges.
