The rules governing your use of Stamped.

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Stamped ("Stamped," "we," "us") governing your use of the Stamped iOS app and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. What Stamped is (and is not)

Stamped is a coordination tool: it helps families and babysitters they already know and trust connect, share availability, request and confirm bookings, and message each other.

• Stamped is not an agency, employer, or marketplace. We do not employ, recruit, refer, vet, background-check, or supervise sitters, and we do not verify any user's qualifications, certifications, or fitness to provide care.
• Stamped does not process payments between families and sitters. Any rates shown in the app are informational; payment for babysitting is arranged and made directly between the parties, outside the Service.
• Each family is solely responsible for deciding whom to invite, connect with, and book — and for supervising the care of their own children. Each sitter is solely responsible for the services they agree to provide.

2. Eligibility and accounts

• Family (parent) accounts: you must be at least 18 years old and the parent or legal guardian of the children whose information you enter.
• Sitter accounts: you must be at least 16 years old. If you are under 18, you confirm that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed these Terms and given you permission to use Stamped, and that they accept these Terms on your behalf to the extent required by the law where you live.
• Families are solely responsible for deciding whether a sitter — including a sitter under 18 — is appropriate for their children and their arrangement, and for complying with any laws that apply to engaging a minor sitter.
• You agree to provide accurate information, including verifying a phone number you own. One account per person; your account role (parent or sitter) is permanent.
• You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. A family's shared login should be shared only within that household.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• impersonate anyone, misrepresent your identity or qualifications, or claim a phone number that is not yours;
• harass, threaten, or abuse other users, or send spam or unsolicited solicitations;
• use the Service to violate any law, including laws on childcare, employment, and background checks that may apply to your arrangement;
• scrape, probe, or attempt to bypass the Service's security or access controls, or access data that is not yours;
• use information obtained through Stamped (including any information about children) for any purpose other than the care arrangement it was shared for.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or put other users at risk.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you submit (profiles, care notes, messages, photos). You grant us a limited license to host, store, display, and transmit that content solely to operate the Service — for example, showing your care notes to the sitter working your booking. Information about children may be entered only by that child's own parent or legal guardian.

5. Parent Plus subscription

• Plans. Parent Plus is an optional auto-renewable subscription: $7.99/month or $79.99/year. Prices may vary by region and may change; changes apply at your next renewal.
• Billing. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
• Managing and canceling. Manage or cancel anytime in your App Store account settings. Canceling stops future renewals; you keep Parent Plus until the end of the paid period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law or Apple's policies (refund requests go through Apple).
• Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription — cancel in your App Store settings as well.

6. Safety; assumption of responsibility

Childcare involves inherent risks. Stamped provides software only. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you acknowledge that: (a) Stamped has no control over, and no duty to monitor, the conduct of any user or the care provided; (b) any screening of sitters is your responsibility; and (c) you assume all risks arising from arrangements made through the Service. In an emergency, contact local emergency services first.

7. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION. STAMPED MAKES NO WARRANTY REGARDING ANY USER, SITTER, FAMILY, OR CARE ARRANGEMENT.

8. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STAMPED AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS ARISING FROM THE ACTS OR OMISSIONS OF OTHER USERS OR FROM CARE ARRANGEMENTS MADE THROUGH THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AND (B) US $50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Stamped harmless from claims arising out of your use of the Service, your content, your care arrangements, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account in the app at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these Terms, risk to other users, or discontinuation of the Service. Sections 4 and 6–12 survive termination.

11. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may modify the Service and these Terms. If changes are material we will notify you in the app or by email; continuing to use the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. The "Last updated" date reflects the current version.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Texas, unless applicable law gives you the right to another venue. Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable consumer-protection rights you have under the laws of the state where you live.

13. App Store terms

Your use of the app must also comply with Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions. Apple is not a party to these Terms and has no responsibility for the Service, but Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this section and may enforce it.
